Schumacher | Maria Embroidery

Maria Embroidery is a small-scale floral pattern stitched in cotton onto a plain linen ground, the bouquets delicate and open so the cloth retains a light, airy character. The embroidery is sweet without being fussy, and the open pattern makes it easy to combine with other fabrics or to use where a gentle, unobtrusive presence is wanted.

Made in India from linen with cotton embroidery, it is 130 centimetres wide with a 43-centimetre vertical repeat and an 11-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds and sheer applications where a soft, diffused light is wanted.
