Marielle Vine is a floral stripe printed with a sun-faded, antique character, its scrolling leaves and intertwining flowers drawn from a historic French Provençal document. The design has a mid-scale presence and a deliberately aged palette, the denim-and-red colourway giving it a worn, lived-in quality. The 32-by-34-centimetre repeat allows the pattern to read clearly on upholstery and at the window.
Printed in the United Kingdom on a blend of linen, cotton and nylon, it is 137 centimetres wide with vertical and horizontal repeats of 32 and 34 centimetres respectively. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
