Marisa Moiré Velvet carries a watery moiré pattern embossed at a large scale across a dense cotton velvet pile, the rippled finish catching and scattering light to give the surface a dimensional, almost liquid quality. The pattern moves in broad, irregular waves that shift as you walk past, lending upholstered furniture or full-length curtains a quiet sense of movement.
Woven in Italy from viscose and cotton, the cloth is 140 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 92 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 70 centimetres. It is suitable for upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds, and dry cleaning is recommended. The design is available in several colourways.
