Masaccio Ground is a woven damask wallcovering, the pattern built into the cloth through a jacquard weave rather than printed on the surface. It reads with the depth and formality of traditional damask but the woven structure gives it a textile quality on the wall, the motif emerging through shifts in the weave rather than colour contrast.
It is woven in the United States and is 69 centimetres wide, sold by the metre. Available in five colourways, it should be installed following the maker's care guidance.
