Matisse translates the loose, gestural energy of Henri Matisse's paintings into a screen-printed botanical on linen. The linework is expressive and free, the scale medium, and the design reads as movement rather than decoration—a pattern that behaves more like a drawing in progress than a repeat.
It is screen-printed by hand in the United States on 100% linen, 135 centimetres wide, with a vertical repeat of 77.5 centimetres and a horizontal repeat that runs the full width. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in four colourways.
