Maxwell is a printed cotton stripe that reads as chevron, the bands stepping sideways at regular intervals so the pattern has both vertical rhythm and a gentle zigzag across its width. The effect is more architectural than traditional stripe, and because it is printed rather than woven, it can be cut and repositioned without losing the repeat, which opens up possibilities for patchwork or panelling.
Made in the United States from cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 46-centimetre vertical repeat and a 15-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is also available in an outdoor version for exterior use.
