Menemsha is a small-scale jacquard weave by Caroline Z Hurley in which thick and chenille weft yarns alternate to give the cloth an irregular, hand-worked character. The pattern reads as a subtle dot or spot, and the shifts in yarn weight lend the surface a gentle, artisanal texture that catches the light unevenly.
Woven in Italy from viscose, cotton and polyester, it is 140 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 51 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 17 centimetres. The chenille construction and upholstery weight make it well suited to cushions and upholstered furniture. Dry cleaning is recommended, and the design is available in six colourways.
