Schumacher | Mesa Matelassé

Mesa Matelassé is a small‑scale geometric woven with a matelassé construction that gives the surface a quilted, three‑dimensional texture. The pattern reads as a chevron or zigzag, but the raised weave softens the geometry and adds tactile interest, so the cloth has both structure and warmth.

Woven in the United States from a blend of cotton, rayon, polyester and flax, it is 127 centimetres wide with an 8‑centimetre vertical repeat and a 2‑centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended, and the cloth suits cushions and upholstery in general domestic use.
