Ming Fret Velvet translates a traditional Chinese fret motif into cut velvet, the raised pile forming a maze-like geometric pattern against a flat, neutral ground. The contrast between pile and base gives the design a quiet graphic strength, the pattern shifting as light catches the different surfaces. It is a restrained, architectural interpretation of a classical motif.
Woven from 54 per cent synthetic and natural blends and 46 per cent viscose, the cushion is made in the United States and finished with a narrow silk lip cord welt. It measures 46 centimetres wide, includes a feather and down fill insert, and closes with a concealed zip. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is available in fourteen colourways.
