Minzer Cotton Stripe revisits the ticking stripe at an enlarged scale, varying the widths of the bands and weaving them with enough texture that the surface has presence beyond the graphic. The horizontal repeat is 34 centimetres, so the stripe has rhythm and weight, and the cloth itself is substantial enough to hold its shape on upholstered furniture.
Woven in India by Schumacher from pure cotton, it is 135 centimetres wide and suited to curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. The fabric should be dry cleaned, and it is available in a number of colourways.
