Schumacher | Mixco Hand Woven Brocade

Mixco Hand Woven Brocade is an embroidered panel made on a backstrap loom by Maya women weavers in Guatemala, each one a singular piece with the natural variations that come from being worked entirely by hand. The pattern is geometric, with a rhythm that reads clearly at 11-centimetre intervals down the length of the cloth.

Woven from cotton, each panel measures 48 centimetres wide and approximately 99 centimetres long, with an 11-centimetre vertical repeat and a 48-centimetre horizontal repeat that spans the full width. It is offered in several colourways and suits cushions and upholstery, where its handcrafted character can be appreciated. Dry cleaning is recommended.
