Moka is a hand-dyed batik on linen, the variations in colour and line a record of the artisan's hand. The process yields a cloth in which no two lengths are identical, the dye resisting and bleeding in ways that cannot be exactly repeated, so the geometric motif remains alive rather than fixed.
Made in India from pure linen, it is 145 centimetres wide with a 60-centimetre vertical repeat and a 17-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
