Schumacher | Montauk

Montauk is a wallcovering made entirely of natural feathers, hand-gathered and applied to form a small-scale stripe with iridescent streaks and the marvellous patterning inherent to plumage. The design is dense and layered, and the feathers catch light differently depending on angle and time of day, so the surface has depth and a quiet, shifting presence. Each panel is a single piece.

Made in Taiwan, each panel is 97 centimetres wide and 301.62 centimetres tall, with a vertical repeat of 3 centimetres, sold individually. Care is by vacuuming only with a soft brush.
