Monte Carlo is a random polka-dot pattern inspired by the pips on stacked dice, the hand-printed artwork from Backdrop's Los Angeles studio giving it the textural, ink-rolled look of an original print. The scale is extra large, the width generous, so it reads as a mural-like statement across a wall.
Printed in the United States, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 206-centimetre vertical repeat and a 137-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the metre from 9.14-metre rolls. Spongeable, it suits feature walls where a bold, graphic intervention is wanted.
