Schumacher | Monterey Matelassé

Monterey Matelassé is a medium‑scale geometric woven with soft bouclé yarns so the surface has both texture and depth, the pattern built into the cloth rather than printed on top of it. The repeat measures 80 by 71 centimetres and the construction gives the design a three‑dimensional quality that changes with the light.

Woven in Italy from a blend of cotton, acrylic, nylon and polyester, it is 142 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth is intended for upholstery and cushions, where the bouclé construction and jacquard weave provide both visual interest and durability.
