Morimont Velvet is a large-scale damask adapted by Schumacher's in-house studio from an antique brocade, the silk velvet pile set against a cotton loop ground so the pattern catches light differently across its surface. The design repeats at 83 centimetres vertically and 69 horizontally, a grand scale that suits larger pieces of furniture where the full motif can be appreciated.
Woven in India from cotton and silk, it is 140 centimetres wide and suitable for cushions and upholstery. Dry cleaning is recommended, and the design is available in three colourways.
