Schumacher | Nakara

Nakara is a natural grasscloth wallcovering with a fine, even weave that brings warmth and grain to walls without competing for attention. The texture is subtle enough to work as a background in rooms with layered decoration, yet present enough to give plain walls interest and depth.

Made in South Korea, it is 114 centimetres wide, sold by the metre from 7.312-metre rolls. It can be sponged clean, which is unusual for a grasscloth and makes it more practical for hallways and other spaces where walls may need occasional wiping.
