Schumacher | Newport Poplin Stripe

Newport Poplin Stripe is a fine, evenly woven stripe in pure cotton with a crisp poplin finish. The stripe is narrow—just one centimetre horizontally—so it reads as a regular rhythm rather than bold blocks of colour, and the cloth has the clean, tailored feel of shirting or classic ticking. It is part of the Simply Charming collection.

Woven in the United Kingdom from 100 per cent cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions, and the narrow stripe works particularly well on smaller chairs, piped edges and Roman blinds where a finer scale is called for.
