Schumacher | Nexus Embroidery

Nexus Embroidery sets overlapping circles onto a textured linen ground using running stitch with a reflective quality, so the geometry catches the light and shifts as you move past it. The pattern draws on Indian textile traditions and reads as a mid-scale geometric with a handworked character, the stitching giving dimension that a print or weave alone would not.

It is embroidered in India on a ground of 94 per cent linen and 6 per cent rayon, 135 centimetres wide, with repeats of 14 centimetres vertically and 13 horizontally. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits light upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds, and is available in two colourways.
