Northern Lights is a sheer linen embellished with acrylic beads arranged in an ombré pattern that shifts from light to dark, evoking the gradations of a night sky. The beading catches and diffuses daylight, so the cloth reads as both veil and ornament, with the subtle irregularities of the handwork part of its character.
Made in India from 80 per cent linen with 18 per cent acrylic beads and 2 per cent spun cotton yarn, it is 142 centimetres wide with a 47-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds and sheer layering, and is available in several colourways, each offering a different tonal range from pale to deep.
