Obi Tape takes its name from the sash that closes a kimono, rendered here as a tightly ribbed grosgrain tape edged in cotton picot. The ribbed structure gives the tape body and a fine linear grain, while the picot edge softens the finish.
Woven in the United Kingdom from cotton and viscose, it is six centimetres wide and should be spot-cleaned. Available in seven colourways, it suits curtains, cushions and upholstered furniture where a tailored, ribbed tape is wanted.
