Schumacher | Ombre Sheer

Ombre Sheer is a jacquard-woven voile with a graduated stripe that fades from light to dark across its width. The cloth is double-width at just over three metres and railroaded, so the ombré runs horizontally and curtains can be made in a single, seamless drop. The weave is open enough to filter daylight but dense enough to hold its shape.

Made in Turkey from a blend of linen, cotton, polyester, viscose and a chlorofibre, it has a vertical repeat of 65 centimetres and a horizontal repeat that spans almost the full width at 300 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds and sheers, where the ombré effect softens transitions between inside and out.
