Orchids Have Dreams is a large-scale floral silhouette printed on linen and cotton, based on original artwork by Hera Ford. The design has a painterly, brushed quality, the flowers rendered as shadow and suggestion rather than botanical detail. At 91 centimetres vertically and 137 horizontally, the repeat is generous enough to let the composition breathe across full-length curtains.
Printed in Scotland on a 137-centimetre-wide cloth of 55 per cent linen and 45 per cent cotton, it drapes well and suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. Dry cleaning is recommended. The design is also available as a wallpaper, and comes in several colourways.
