Orwell is a two-tone woven with a fine geometric structure, offering graphic clarity and textural interest without pattern in the usual sense. It reads as an alternative to a plain cloth, liveable and unfussy, with enough going on in the weave to catch the light and add quiet definition to a piece of furniture.
Woven in Italy from cotton, linen, viscose and polyester, it is 137 centimetres wide with a minimal repeat of one centimetre vertically and three horizontally. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions where a solid colour with added depth is preferred.
