Otto Velvet is a cut velvet with an offset windowpane, the familiar grid shifted so the lines no longer meet at right angles. The pattern is graphic and understated, the pile catching light differently across the cut and uncut areas so the grid appears to shift as you move around it. The repeat is just three centimetres, tight enough for the design to read as an all-over texture rather than a bold geometry.
Woven in Belgium, chiefly from viscose with polyester, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits cushions and upholstery, and is available in several colourways.
