Painterly Windowpane is a large-scale windowpane check drawn with a deliberately uneven hand, so the grid reads as graphic and almost architectural rather than formal. Created by the decorator Miles Redd, it is printed on a heavyweight cotton and brings a bold, American sensibility to upholstery and cushions.
Printed in the United Kingdom on pure cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 72-centimetre vertical repeat and a 137-centimetre horizontal repeat—so the pattern runs full-width. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery and cushions, and is offered in several colourways.
