Schumacher | Palampore Embroidery

Palampore Embroidery takes its elegant blooms and stylised leaves from traditional Indian textiles, the motifs rendered in dense, multidirectional satin-stitch embroidery on a heavy linen ground. The result is a large-scale floral with considerable texture and lustre, the embroidery catching light as the cloth moves.

Made in India, it is composed of 54 per cent linen, 45 per cent viscose rayon and one per cent viscose, and is 128 centimetres wide with a full-width repeat of 77 by 128 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. Suited to curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, it is especially effective for window treatments where the scale and texture can be appreciated. The design is available in several colourways.
