Paley Embroidery is an allover scatter of chain-stitched daisies worked onto a linen ground, each flower head defined by a raised line that catches the light. The embroidery gives the cloth a gentle dimension, and the small-scale repeat—ten centimetres vertically, five horizontally—makes it easy to place on smaller pieces or gathered headings without the pattern breaking awkwardly.
Made in India, the cloth is eighty per cent linen with twenty per cent acrylic, 137 centimetres wide, and dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in four colourways.
