Palopo Hand Woven Stripe is woven by Maya artisans in Guatemala using a traditional ruched technique that gives the cloth remarkable dimension and texture. The stripe itself is tactile rather than merely visual, the surface rising and falling across narrow bands that repeat every 5 centimetres horizontally.
Made in Guatemala from cotton, the fabric is 88 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 17 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 5 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery and is woven in several colourways.
