Schumacher | Panthelo Pillow

Panthelo Pillow is embroidered by a collective of Maya women weavers in the highlands of Chiapas using the traditional backstrap loom, so each piece carries slight variation in colour, pattern and scale. The design is a stripe worked in saffron and neighbouring tones, the handwork giving it texture and irregularity that machine production cannot replicate.

Made in Mexico from cotton, the cushion is 51 centimetres square with hand-stitched sides and comes with a feather insert. Dry cleaning is recommended.
