Schumacher | Parker Faux Bois Moiré

Parker Faux Bois Moiré reinterprets the traditional woodgrain as a graphic, almost architectural motif, the pattern built from chevrons that mimic the watered-silk effect of moiré. The result feels both familiar and slightly unsettling, a trompe-l'œil that reads as texture from a distance and reveals its constructed geometry up close. The large vertical repeat gives it presence on walls or at full drop.

Woven in Italy from cotton, viscose and linen, it is 140 centimetres wide with a 145-centimetre vertical repeat and 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the scale works best where the pattern can be seen in full.
