Parson's Stripe Hand-Print is a painterly patchwork stripe printed onto a rugged hemp and cotton canvas, created to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States. The design has a large-scale, freehand quality, with a vertical repeat of 140 centimetres and a horizontal repeat that runs the full width of the cloth, so each length reads as a complete composition. The hemp canvas gives it weight and durability.
Printed in the United States, it is 137 centimetres wide and comes in three colourways. Dry cleaning is recommended. The robust construction and scale suit curtains, blinds, upholstery and cushions, and the design can be cut and pieced in various ways.
