Parvin Velvet combines cut velvet with multiple weaving techniques to create a geometric pattern interspersed with stripes, the whole reading as part rug, part upholstery cloth. The surface is tactile and layered, the pattern repeating at 11 centimetres vertically and 34 centimetres horizontally, giving it a rhythm that works across larger pieces.
Made in India, the fabric is chiefly viscose with cotton, 139 centimetres wide, with a vertical repeat of 11 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 34 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions and is woven in several colourways.
