Patek Wool Bouclé takes its articulated stripe from Tibetan tiger motifs, the pattern woven rather than printed so that the chunky yarns create a nubby texture and soft, heathered bands. The stripe has an abstract, geometric quality, and the bouclé construction gives the cloth a cosseting, tactile character suited to pieces that invite touch.
Woven in Scotland from 94 per cent wool and 6 per cent nylon, it is 140 centimetres wide with repeats of 38 centimetres vertically and 76 horizontally. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is suitable for upholstery and cushions, particularly headboards, sofas and other pieces where the textured stripe can be appreciated at medium scale.
