Patent Linen is pure linen finished with a high-gloss chintz glaze, so the cloth has the sheen and intensity of patent leather but retains the drape and softness of a natural fibre. Woven in France and piece-dyed, the fabric reads as both refined and dramatic, the glossy surface amplifying the depth of colour.
It is made in France from 100 per cent linen, 148 centimetres wide, and is recommended for dry cleaning. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, where its exceptional drape and rich finish come into their own. It is available in six colourways.
