Pathway was created with Kevin Aspaas, a Diné weaver, fibre artist, shepherd and farmer based in Shiprock, New Mexico, on the Navajo Nation. The design is a zigzag stripe incorporating traditional Native American motifs, inspired by a textile originally used for making garments. The medium-scale pattern has a strong, grounded character.
Woven in the United States from 83 per cent wool and 17 per cent cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 24 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 34 centimetres. The cloth is heavyweight and suited to cushions and upholstered furniture. Dry cleaning is recommended, and it is offered in several colourways.
