Schumacher | Pavia Silk Velvet

Pavia Silk Velvet is an elaborate floral worked in silk pile against a cotton sateen ground, the design drawn from the archive and rendered at a generous scale. The velvet catches and holds the light across the pattern, giving depth to the flowers and leaves, while the satin base adds a quiet lustre. The vertical repeat runs to 98 centimetres, so the design unfolds properly on taller pieces and full-length curtains.

Woven in the United States from cotton and silk, it is 131 centimetres wide with a horizontal repeat of 65 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in two colourways.
