Pavone Velvet sets peacocks and flowers into a mirrored repeat, the pattern drawn from sources including Peruvian weavings and Ukrainian embroidery. The cut pile gives the design depth and a play of light across the motifs, while the 70-centimetre vertical and 69-centimetre horizontal repeats allow the composition to read whole on larger pieces.
Woven in Belgium from viscose and cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The velvet suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in four colourways.
