Schumacher | Penelope Embroidery

Penelope Embroidery traces a trailing vine and bloom motif in ivory yarn across a herringbone ground of cotton and linen. The embroidery sits proud of the cloth, and the herringbone weave beneath gives the surface a quiet diagonal grain. Small variations are part of the cloth's natural character.

Made in India from 40 per cent cotton, 38 per cent spun polyester and 22 per cent linen, it is 130 centimetres wide with a 38-centimetre vertical repeat and a 32-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, upholstery and cushions.
