Petra Stripe is a woven stripe with tonal variation that suggests the irregularities of hand-looming. The stripe runs vertically with a 59-centimetre repeat, and the shifts in colour and texture within each band give the cloth a less mechanical, more organic quality than a flat-printed stripe would have. It is also stain-resistant, which makes it practical for everyday use.
Made in Turkey from a blend of acrylic, polyester, viscose and linen, it is 140 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery and cushions, and the substantial handle means it holds its shape well on seat furniture and larger upholstered pieces where the vertical repeat can be read in full.
