Pineapples is drawn from a rare eighteenth-century Indian document, the fruit set against a plain ground so the motif reads clearly without competing pattern. The pineapple, a longstanding symbol of welcome, is rendered with period detail and arranged in a formal repeat.
Made in the United States, the paper is 69 centimetres wide with a 46-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat, supplied by the metre from 8.226-metre rolls. It is washable and available in three colourways. The same design is also produced as a fabric.
