Pinula Tape is a wide viscose ribbon woven with a zigzag pattern that shifts direction across the width, the jacquard weave giving it a textured, almost three-dimensional surface. Created in collaboration with A Rum Fellow, it has the irregular, handwoven appearance of cloth made on a loom where tension and rhythm vary slightly, though it is in fact mechanically woven. At seven centimetres wide it reads as a substantial band rather than a delicate edging.
Made in Germany entirely of viscose, it is woven as a jacquard seven centimetres wide with a three-centimetre vertical repeat and a seven-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery, curtains and cushions where a bold textural accent is wanted, and is available in five colourways.
