Pique-Nique is a large-scale printed design depicting the elements of an outdoor feast—bread, wine, fruit, cheese—rendered with a loose, gestural hand that gives the pattern a painted, illustrative quality. The imagery is playful but sophisticated, the composition relaxed and informal, and the scale is generous: a 102-centimetre vertical repeat and 137 horizontal, so the design needs space to be seen whole. It brings a Parisian ease to a room, the hand-painted aesthetic sitting comfortably in both contemporary and more traditional settings.
