Schumacher | Pizarra Pillow

The Pizarra cushion in Sky features intricate embroidery by a collective of Maya women weavers working in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico, using the traditional backstrap loom technique. The handmade nature of each piece means slight variations in colour, pattern and size, so no two are exactly alike.

Made in Mexico from cotton, the cushion measures 51 centimetres square and is finished with hand-stitched sides and a plush feather insert. Dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the embroidered surface.
