Polka Dot Pony Tape is a stylised equine motif reduced to chevrons and dots, printed on linen with the irregularities of a hand-blocked design. The pattern, drawn from a midcentury archive, reads as graphic and folksy in equal measure, the ten-centimetre repeat giving it a rhythm that works on cushion edges or curtain leading-edges without overwhelming smaller pieces.
Printed in India on pure linen, the tape is ten centimetres wide with a ten-centimetre vertical repeat. It is available in four colourways and should be dry-cleaned. The construction suits curtains, cushions and upholstered furniture where a folk-modern accent is wanted.
