Poxte Hand Woven is a geometric chevron worked in the round by Maya weavers in Guatemala on traditional backstrap looms, a method unchanged since the sixteenth century. The rhythm of the pattern and the hand of the cloth both carry the mark of that slow, skilled process, and the weave has a richness and depth that feels entirely different from mill production.
Woven entirely from cotton, it is 108 centimetres wide with a 5 centimetre vertical repeat and 8 centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is made in several colourways.
