Schumacher | Pretty Petals

Pretty Petals takes simple, stylised flowers inspired by Central Asian textile motifs and prints them onto soft, washed linen with a tumbled finish. The design, based on illustrations by Marian McEvoy, is open and airy at a large scale, retaining the subtle tonal variations of the original sketches so the pattern reads with an artisan, hand-drawn quality rather than mechanical precision.

Printed in the United Kingdom on 100% linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 91 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 69 centimetres. The cloth can be cool washed and suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. The design is also made as a wallpaper, and comes in several colourways.
