Puntini Sisal arranges two grids of dots, one lighter and smaller, the other darker and larger, so they overlap and create a lively, syncopated geometry. Inspired by Italian sweets, the design is playful without being frivolous, and the natural texture and tonal variation of the sisal ground give it depth and warmth. The repeat is small at 6 centimetres, so the pattern reads as an allover texture on the wall.
Screen-printed by hand in the United States on Haruki Sisal, it is 86 centimetres wide and sold by the metre from rolls of 7.312 metres. It should be vacuum cleaned and is available in several colourways. It suits walls where a geometric pattern with natural texture is wanted.
