Schumacher | Quill

Quill takes inspiration from nineteenth-century Anglo-Indian boxes made from porcupine needles, translating that idea into a sophisticated multi-width stripe with geometric details and variegated patterning. Printed on a textured grasscloth ground, the design works at a large scale, rhythmic and architectural, and can anchor a room with quiet authority.

Made in the United States and printed on natural grasscloth, it is 86 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 31 centimetres and a horizontal repeat that matches the full width. Sold by the metre in rolls of just over seven metres. Vacuum only with a soft brush. It suits walls where a linear pattern is wanted with character and depth.
