Schumacher | Quilted Scroll Matelassé

Quilted Scroll Matelassé is derived from a fragment of an eighteenth-century bedcover and woven as a mid-scale scrolling floral that mimics the elaborate silk cording of the original. The matelassé weave gives the cloth a quilted, three-dimensional surface, and the pattern has a gentle, domestic character that suits a bedroom. Part of the Williamsburg collection.

Woven in Italy from pure cotton, it is 136 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 70 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 70 centimetres. Cold washing is recommended. The cloth suits cushions and upholstery, and is available in two colourways.
